Confirmed by 2 users | Last reported on August 15, 2020We attempted to stay at Wallace Stay park while passing thru from Illinois to Nebraska. Stayed Christmas Day night and was nice because they were not open that day. Quiet, secluded, and conveniently located off the interstate. Could not hear freeway traffic. Would have stayed for breakfast if we had more time!

We arrived late and parked near highway because that is where other trailers were. A little noise, but not bad. In hindsight we would have parked in rear of building. We called ahead, staff member was extremely friendly and helpful. Had breakfast in morning, again staff were friendly. We felt safe and slept well! If you arrive late at night as we did, approach slowly, we missed entrance, our first attempt! Lol! Well lit and clean parking lot.

Arrived well after dark, parked along with several other RV’s… typical restaurant traffic in the morning, was not an issue.

We picked this spot for an over night stay due to a complication with another campsite. It was quiet for the most part and somewhat secluded. The only way a camper can be spotted is if you are coming to the cracker barrel to eat. Staff was friendly and welcoming.

We drove 14 hours and needed an overnight. Saw this on Campendium so we pulled in at 9pm. Right off the highway. We ate dinner inside and crawled into bed. No one bothered us and we did not ask permission.
The lot is large and lots of trees. Employees park on the left coming into the lot. If you park in the rv bus slots, the building blocks the road noise.
We were on the road by 7am and no one ever bothered us.

We started at Walmart and were notified we could not overnight there. Found this on Campendium, called the restaurant and they were very friendly. Asked us to park in the bus parking. We rolled in at 9pm and slept like a rock. Had some breakfast before we left and hit the road again.
