Jay Cooke State Park offers one of the best places for backpackers, bikers, horseback riders and skiers to hook up with the Willard Munger State Trail. It's also a great place to view wildflowers and the fall colors as you stroll around the trails throughout the park. Other recreational activities include fishing the St. Louis River and visiting the gorge at Thomson Dam. The Park also has a nice campground with 83 campsites.
