“Pleasant and Fulfilling Food”
Jackson Grill has been Milwaukee's hidden gem for fine dining for nearly ten years and was recently picked as one ofMilwaukee's Top 30 Restaurants by JournalSentinel food critic Carol Deptolla. Chef James (Jimmy) Jackson began his career working for his father at "Ray Jackson's Restaurant" on Bluemound Road. It was at Ray Jackson's that he earned a culinary apprenticeship under Master Chef Jahn Kramph and went on to distinguish himself at several other local restaurants throughout Milwaukee. He has collaborated on five cookbooks and is rated one of Wisconsin's "Top 30 Chefs." He is also ranked one of the top 2,000 chefs in the U.S. Heidi Schmidt spent her early career within the hospitality industry, building a wealth of knowledge serving discriminating diners at a number of reputable establishments throughout the Milwaukee area. The experiences of Heidi and Jimmy combine to offer their customers value, friendly service and quality food in a comfortable atmosphere. The menu and service philosophy reflect their wish that your dining experience at Jackson Grill is pleasant and fulfilling. Jackson Grill was featured in the 2011 documentary Wisconsin Supper Clubs: An Old Fashioned Experience broadcast nationwide on PBS, and in the Wisconsin Supper Club book, released in April, 2013.
