Great spot easy off and on the highway. Solid sites with grass and trees The new owners are working hard to upgrade the campground and it shows. They really care about their customers and are very friendly. Covid 19 is not helping but I would definitely stay there again. Dumpster was full but that wasn’t their fault but due to the pandemic. It is slightly noisy due to a Tran track nearby but really wasn’t an issue. We had a fan going and did not hear it at night.

We enjoyed this campground. Easy access from the highway. Big enough pull through sites, although connections are toward the back. Lots for kids to do. Their rate is for two people at a site so we paid an extra $15 for the three kids. That’s a big extra on top of the $55 rate. Cute campground. The fan and lights didn’t bother us. It is stinky from some industrial thing but not bad for a night or two.

This now called Sandusky Milan RV Park.
We stayed here one night traveling east. It’s pretty easy from the turnpike, because of Covid (I assume) the office was closed, but our site assignment was outside. Someone came by and asked if we needed help, when I asked if we needed to unhook our toad, he looked at our site number and said he would reassign us. Our new site was very easy to get into and relatively level. Personally, I think the original site wasn’t bad, but this was an easier exit for us. We paid for a 30amp/water site, we were moved to a 30amp/FHU for no extra fee. We only used the electric, since we were here one night.
They are obviously doing a lot of work, they are moving gravel around for the site, making them more level. The park looks very nice, it’s just the surrounding area is a little unattractive and there was a smell, asphalt maybe? The park has nice trees, grass between sites with plenty of room to spread out a little. They have electric water and primitive sites that are in a beautiful area with lots of tree cover. I’m not sure if the are renting them, or if they have plans for them, but it’s a nice area for group gatherings.
The pool was open, and looked inviting. The bathhouse was super clean, but only one shower in the ladies room. We appreciated the extra effort of moving our site, so that upped my opinion.
I’ll be curious to see the improvements they make, so far the park looks great!

The park is small which is fine and about half the sites are unlevel but people made it work. Our concern was as soon as we pulled into our unlevel site that the sewer hook up was about 15 feet uphill from the middle of the site where our main drain is. We have a second bathroom in the back which the distance would have been fine but it also still uphill. I called the office (closed office but someone answers the phone) and was told they had no other site to put us because they were full in a couple days on the weekend. I was offered to use the dump station on the way out 4 days later..... We planned to do that but after 3 days our grey tank was full and we needed to shower so we attempted to dump what we could. Well that was a process for the 15 ft of hose to fill with water. We close the tank and proceed to lift the hoses above our head until we got it empty. Did that twice enough to take a shower. We weren't surprised when we took the cover off the sewer pipe and it looked brand new.
2 days into our stay I emailed the office asking for a $5 discount per day for what they are advertising to be water and electric hookups only which is essentially what they gave us. No response.
It seems that the new owners do not know how to run a campground and are doing what they can to improve it but not providing the services they advertise and not accommodating their guests will not keep them in business for long in my opinion.
It was convenient off the interstate and to go to Cedar Point. That's the only reason I gave it 2 stars. And there is a smell of asphalt in the air a lot from I guess a neighboring business.

The park itself is not bad, but it's 2:00 AM and I can't sleep. There is a loud industrial "tone" that sounds every second from a nearby facility. If you arr a light sleeper, find another place or run your fan all night.

The customer service was great. We accidentally arrived a day early and they took us in. The gentleman at the check in also gave us some really great info on what we could see/visit while were there. We did not get the impression that we were annoying him. The internet was good. The campground, itself, was very quiet. The campground is very close to the highway, however, the noise was not bad at all. There is a train close by, but again, not too load at all. The worst thing about this campground was the SEED CO across the street. The day we got there, the smell was almost unbearable - the wind was blowing our way. The next day was not too bad. There is no TV service - even local channels. Most of the sites were uneven, (on small hills) but not too bad.

We stayed here the first week of June for 4 nights.
The Good:
-Close to everything we wanted to do. Cedar Point and the drag strip @ Norwalk were both close.
-The gentleman I met running the camp stated that he was the owner and was there working to help repair some of the reputation damage done by the last few managers he had helping out. He was very friendly and overly accommodating.
-YOU WILL NOT BEAT THE PRICE IN THIS AREA! When we went, we paid $55 per night for full hookups. Looking around, most places want $80 and up nightly.
-We had a great spot, so we had plenty of room. We had spot 88 that was an end spot and most of the end spots were roomy.
-The bathrooms were clean and orderly.
The Bad:
-Yes there is an asphalt shingle manufacturing plant across the road that emits a tar odor from time to time. It was not always present, but when it was, it was annoying.
-Some highway noise, but that is a fair tradeoff for this central location.
-Some sites are not very level, but that is explained on their website.
***This campground asks a fair price for these “Tradeoffs”.
All in all, we had a great experience and will be staying here again.

This campground is quite amazing. This is our first time using a campground with full hook up sites.. so that's a great experience all in itself. It's a smaller campground with very little noise. There are many pull through sites, which I didn't know exactly how much I loved until this trip. There is a rec room, in ground pool, two parks, a place to take your dog, and a tent area (which DOESN'T allow pets per the sign when you're entering the tent area). The tent area appears to be more rustic, we didn't venture into that area though. I know for a fact that this campground is about 20 minutes from Cedar Point and down the street from Kalahari. One night we ate in Norwalk, OH which is the next town over and there is a professional drag strip there, however, I'm unsure of the distance or time it takes to get there as we were here mostly for Cedar Point.
*as far as cell phone coverage is concerned it bounced from 3 to 4 bars but mostly 3.
