“Original 1880 TOWN has more than 30 buildings from the 1880 to 1920 era”
Santa Fe 50′s Train Diner - open to tour only, no food will be served due to lack of staff.
Interesting place to visit. The operating saloon was cool. Ordered a sassparilla at the bar. Dancing With Wolves fans will appreciate all the movie props.
Stopped by to check it out. It was Monday afternoon at 2pm and the place was gated and closed. So disappointed. Looked like fun from a distance though.
Super cute and friendly place. We had fun exploring the old buildings.
I was very disappointed by this stop. It was just some buildings that looked cool back in the day but are now run down, crumbling and falling apart. The props from the film Dances with Wolves might have been the highlight of the whole stop. However, it was a nice place to get out and wander around.
Unimpressive. I had looked forward to it, but I was let down. It's a collection of buildings with stuff in them, not well maintained or organized. Not necessarily authentic either. No staff around the town, and next to no information about what the buildings represent, where they came from, what is in them.
$12 entrance fee so I didn’t go in, but looked pretty cool
