The sites are the biggest I’ve ever seen in a commercial park. While heavily occupied with seasonal campers, there are plenty of pull-through sites for weekend and monthly visitors. I’m also a full-time online worker, and AT&T cell tower is withi. Sight and I’m receiving 20-50mbps. I am An AT&T remote worker / employee #attemployee

My family loves coming to Huggy Bear. Always so much for the kids to do, friendly staff, and not too far from home. Can’t wait to see you in 2023!

Was put into what they call a premium spot, but in my opinion was far from it. The only thing premium about it in my opinion was the fact that it was close to the pool and the office. I was put on a corner spot that made it very difficult to back my trailer in, especially when the folks across the street had parked several cars along the grass, right in front of the camp spot. There is a rule from the park rules that says no parking in the grass but that was obviously not enforced. Staying in the location for the few days I was there was pleasant and fairly quiet. The corner spot that I was in was right next to a dump station, which again makes me wonder why it’s called a premium spot. I enjoyed the pool, but it was not adequately maintained and had lots of debris in the pool, but was refreshing. There’s also a rule and signs around the pool that said No Smoking. There were at least two or three folks each time we went, that did smoke and vape. Again, the staff was not attentive or enforcing that rule either. There was some grass cutting going on on the two or three lots beside us. I understand there needs to be maintenance done on the grounds but you would think that if people are there camping, they could wait. I would have thought it would’ve at least been courtesy to make sure that when they are throwing debris out to chute it would be away from the guests. I was wrong! My wife was nearly hit by a rock that was thrown from the mower and did hit my camper. She went inside to await the person mowing to be done, and I, being bullheaded, decided to stay a couple of extra minutes when a piece of debris nearly hit me in the face and also hit the camper. Obviously, we were completely ignored or they just didn’t care. Who would’ve paid to have my window fixed if it would’ve been broken by that flying debris? Who would’ve paid for the medical attention should that have hit my wife or me in the face? The staff inside the store was pleasant and professional and the food available at the store was good and they had a decent selection of camping supplies and miscellaneous items for sale. We enjoyed walking the grounds and saying hi to some of the folks there. This park is probably about 90% permanent campsites. I would stay here again, but I would definitely not want to stay in the PG1-PG4 section again.

Nice campground. Our site was completely level. Site 202. Easy in and out. Decent spacing. We didn’t use any amenities except hookups. Lots of seasonal campers with nice sites and campers. The pool looked nice but we were here in April. We would definitely return.
