Didn’t stay here, although doesn’t look like a problem. Plenty of space away from traffic.
However, there is a water hose directly outside the outdoor center by the handicapped stalls. We topped off our tank here.
We stayed last night here. Confirmed with service center that overnight stay was ok here. They asked that we park near the garden center to not interfere with other trucks coming in and out.
At this time, they were closed by 11pm and it was a quiet evening. Felt very comfortable and allowed us to leisurely shop for some needed items.
Cell signal for both AT&T and Verizon were low but still usable for checking email. AT&T seemed to be able to do some streaming as well.
We arrived at around 8 pm and found plenty of room to park. There were 5-10 other RVs in the lot on the night that we stayed. Although the store was not terribly busy, the parking lot was active with cars and trucks racing through to find parking. The lot quieted down when the store closed at 11pm. Sault Ste Marie is fairly run down and there may be a high amount of property crime. However, the Walmart lot was well monitored, even at night, and we felt safe. It's best not to leave any valuables visible.
The store itself was nice and friendly as we loaded up on groceries in the morning.
