Pier-Lon Park is very convenient, inexpensive campground for people visiting the Akron and Cleveland area. When comparing site cost for full hookup, Pier-Lon is reasonable for the We have now stayed a second time because of the nice condition of the sites and the staff is helpful. They have play equipment for children, a lake with a beach area for swimming and fishing. There are many seasonal sites but also many weekend sites also. I highly recommend this campground.

After my horrible experience with American wilderness up the road, we decided to leave and head farther down the road for a new campground. We stayed here for two straight weekends and loved it.
This is a DRY campground/ we do not drink so this was ideal for us. Most of the seasonal are quiet and keep to themselves, well mannered families and children as well- a unique experience given the current way people raise children. The fishing/swimming pond is large and well maintained, the grounds are well kept and managed well. The owner is very nice, they offer worship services every Sunday morning. I was packing up the camper and slipped off the step, nothing major but about a dozen people
Came out of the center and left worship to make sure I was OK- and even offered to let me leave the camper for free if I was injured and needed to just go home. I can’t say enough good things about the overall experience you have here.

I don't have anything bad to say about Pier Lon. Photos looked better than the park and there were more than 100 full time spots that looked like they were summer camp spots . Spots for folks that are passing through were limited with a view of the Bath house which could use an update but was clean .
Very peaceful and quiet and was fine for visiting Cleveland. They allow dogs but are very restrictive with them. You cannot enjoy a walk near the beautiful lake with them. Many signs that say no dogs. Maybe they had a bad experience with dogs in the past. .
