As we were driving to the park, our first glimpse was from above the park peering through the trees. There were many boats, lobster traps, and even an island in the water. We came here looking for the Andre The Seal statue from the movie we had watched based on the true story of a harbor seal that resided here. There were several benches and picnic tables scattered throughout the park. We saw a few dogs too. The Andre The Seal statue makes a great photo opp, and there is info near the statue if unfamiliar with the story. There was plenty of parking on both sides of the park. It's easy access, so great for the disabled, elderly, children, and all ages. It's quintessential Maine, and we'd return if in the area again.
