Confirmed by 3 users | Last reported on October 01, 2023This place is really nice. Full hook ups, WiFi, cable TV, grass spots, but the spots are TIGHT. Our 40’ coach is too big for the ocean front spots (which all have fire pits) but we didn’t mind being second row for the week. The town is really nice. It can get a bit windy being right on the ocean. Very small camp store. The staff is very kind.
2 bars of 5G T-Mobile service.

I write this review as I sit drinking my coffee after watching the sunrise over the ocean. I can only write about the Oceanside sites. This really is a special place with views of 2 lighthouses. It is just my wife and I with no kids. The campground is very simple with no pools or common areas. It’s all about the view. Not much for young kids to do at the camp itself so it was very quiet. Family owned and operated since 1923, everyone we spoke to was very friendly. Trailers are lined up very close but you hang out and set up at the end of your RV overlooking the ocean. Oceanside sites have a fire pit and picnic table provided. Bathrooms and small laundry room very clean. Easy walk to York long sands beach and short drive to other area attractions. We have a 27’ travel trailer. Staff will help guide you in your spot. There are some small tent sites available along the back. We will be back’

Spent two nights in the amazing campground. Had site number 11 with an ocean view outside my back van doors. Slept with the sounds of crashing waves. Expensive, yes. But worth every penny. Not much cell service, but Starlink had no obstructions. Wifi was pretty good depending on the time of day. Will treat myself with a return visit in the future.

Site 28 on the water was the best ocean views we’ve ever had at a campsite. I could sit out there all day and watch the tide come in and out. There are two lighthouses in the distance visible at night. The sites on the ocean have a stone fire ring and wood fires are allowed. We sat out there by the fire listening to the crash of the waves with a nearly full moon rising over the water… magical. The next day we walked along the beach at Long Beach access and had coffee and breakfast across the street. I only wish we could’ve stayed another night and had more time to explore the area. This stop was a highlight of our trip. It’s pricey and your neighbors are close but it’s all about location and ocean views. Our neighbors were all very nice and the owners were great and friendly while helping us get into our spot.
