“very clean and very reasonable”

On the Mississippi River next to Lady Luck Casino and marina. Exceptionally clean; comfortable rooms. Wireless Internet. Heated outdoor pool. We are a family owned and operated motel. We are located next to the Lady Luck Casino in Marquette, Iowa. We are also located directly across the road from the Mississippi River and the Lady Luck managed boat dock where you can dock your boat overnite or bring your boat and launch it across the street.

I give this place 5 starts as a “2 star motel”. We stayed here on NYE for $80. The rooms are the cleanest motel rooms I’ve ever stayed in. The lobby was cute and the man at the front desk was helpful and friendly. It was -15 degrees and our truck wouldn’t start and without even asking for help the staff came over and helped us back on the road. Water is hot, fridge is cold. Modern TVs, WiFi, this place has everything you need for a comfortable no-frills stay. Literally right next door to the casino; walking distance. I will absolutely be coming back here!

Called to make a reservation. We have a vested, fully certified service dog. According to the American Disabilities Act and Iowa law regarding service dogs a motel/hotel, etc. CANNOT charge extra for the stay. This man INSISTED that if the dog stayed in HIS motel, it was a pet and he would charge the extra fee. We are Sonrise Helpers Service Dogs and part of our mission is to educate individuals, groups and businesses on the law regarding service animals. What this business is trying to do is ILLEGAL.
