The Lincoln Theatre is on the National Register of Historic Places and is a Virginia Historic Landmark. Beautifully restored in 2004 by a $1.8 million renovation and installation of state-of-the-art sound and lighting systems, the 500-seat theater is a presenting organization and a programming facility. The Lincoln Theatre features performing arts events year-round and is available to touring companies, groups, and individual artists.
Lovely theatre in a quaint town. The theatre has mayan decor and has 6 large civil war murals inside... which is a bit odd together. The theatre is located on Main St. which in recent years has really been rejuvenated.
