We arrived mid week so there were few campers there. It was pretty quiet except for the highway noise a quarter mile away. Our cost was only $6 with the "giezer" national pass. There is good water available. The campsites were all nicely cared for by the super friendly camp hosts Dan and Sherry. There is a trail running along the back side of the lake but it fades into deer trails after 3-4 miles. Still it was very pretty. The Mcgegor lodge a few miles away does a standard American breakfast with free wifi.

We stayed here around the end of September 2016. ATT did not work and Verizon was marginal even with boosting.
This is a beautiful campground outside of Kalispell and we wanted to stay longer, but cell service was not good enough. They're a variety of site sizes and it's very clean. It was abandoned for the winter and the host site was the only one not locked up. So we took on the responsibility of becoming Campground hosts and made a satirical video of the experience that can be found unde the blog posts.
Generally speaking the campgrounds along this stretch of highway didn't have good cell service.
