Located on beautiful Irvine Park, the 1889 Ohage mansion is a couple of blocks from the Xcel Center, the Mississippi River, and downtown Saint Paul. Leave your car in the driveway and stroll to the X, the Ordway, the Fitzgerald, the Science Museum, The Children's Museum and other venues. Fine and casual dining and the river walk are minutes away. The mansion has two parlors, a dining room that seats 10, a large kitchen with commercial stove, a basement bar with pool table, bubble hockey, pinball, and a 50" plasma TV. There are four bedrooms. Two bedrooms have queen beds and share a full bath. The third bedroom is a suite with a queen bed in one room and a twin/daybed in the adjoining room. The fourth bedroom has two twin beds. Another full bath is on the bedroom level. The historic Irvine Park neighborhood is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The setting is ideal for families, wedding guests, groups of friends, book lovers, foodies, writers, or any type of group gathering in the St. Paul or Minneapolis area. The owners or a caretaker will be on-site in the third floor apartment which shares a common hallway through the first and second floor of the mansion and may have a dog in the apartment. They are available to help you enjoy your stay at the historic Ohage House!
