We stayed over the Memorial weekend knowing it would be hard to find camping. I have a 25' travel trailer towing w/Tundra. Had no problems on the sandy roads. Had 3 pronghorn visit, very cool. My site was level!! Shelia, the camp host was excellent. Neighbor was not the best camper and they took care of it PROMPTLY!

Camped 20 ft from the water. $12 fee for a number of days. Someone is supposed to pick it up. They never showed up. Stayed there September 13 and 14th. Handful of campers and a few boats. Warm days, cool nights and good fishing. Was told it is packed and crazy in the summer. Road into area is a little rough. A lot of flies and some cows here.We had 24 digital TV channels and little or no cell service.

Very pleasantly surprised at how amazing this place is!! Stopped at the marina store to ask about cost They advised it was $5 a night and to put money in an envelope near the store turns out this campground is in the WY side and is ran by someone else
It is $14 a night and they will come and collect cash or check only
So many spots to camp and lots of room for groups if planned accordingly!! Wildlife for days too!! Beautiful water, weather, Mountain View’s will be back as soon as we can!!

What an amazing find if you can boondock. We were there in late September and only 2 other campers out of hundreds of spots. So alone I was able to take an outdoor shower without anyone being within a mile. Most of the sites are grass/sand with some shrubbery around. I imagine in peak season the place is crawling with the ATV crowd from the looks of the improvised roads all over the place.
Note that when we got there a sign was posted that the camp was closed for the season, but this apparently means only that the pit toilets are locked up and you can still help yourselves.
The view is unbelievable.

This was our original site we chose, but then switched to another (J H ) thinking we would enjoy it more. Guess what guys… we got turned around, and ended up here by directions! We sat and decided whether to head to the other site which is an hour away, or stay here. OMG. I am so glad we did.
Stateline site is 5 minutes from Lucerne— there, you stop at the office in front, and can fill water for free, pay $7 for dumping and grab wood. Ice can be delivered to your site for $3 a bag. Now to the awesome parts
When you come into Stateline , you can veer left and go where the boaters are, or you can veer right. There was only one other group there, so we parked on the very end furthest from the bathroom (still not a far walk at all) the bathrooms were very clean (courtesy of Ron) This site gives AMAZING views of the sunrise and sunset. The water is very close maybe 50 ft. At night cut off ALL lights. We accidentally slept right underneath the Milky Way and Jupiter. omg. More stars than you can count. Shooting stars. Can see 5 planets naked eye, and the Big Dipper over the water. From here, spirit lake, flaming gorge, sheep creek etc are all in a one hour loop . Don’t miss it. The staff here are all good souls.
There is no way we will miss staying here again

Here October 1, 2022 and official campground closed September 15, so no fee.
It just rained, so some slippery roads and puddles but made it in easy with 21 foot trailer. Big class A near us towing an enclosed trailer, so no access problems. If it was going to continue to rain, I don’t think I would choose this campground. We first went to Lucerne Campground and said “not for us” - too civilized.
The lake and Mountain View’s are stunning!!

Arrived Tuesday, 7-7-20. One of the best places we have ever stayed. Beach access. Many people brought their ATVs. Fire pits are good. Quiet (if you’re not close to the RVs) and away from the machines. Moon rose across the lake and took away the stars, but was cool nonetheless. Easy access from Manila, UT. Just keep going as you drive through town from 84/80 and you’ll run into the Lucerne Valley Rd on your left about 7 miles as the crow flies.
I’d say about 1/4 of the spots were taken, but I don’t fully know the shear scope of this area. Didn’t see any other tent folks. Minor breeze, plan for longer stakes with sand. Outhouses for RV spots. $14/night for the improved spots, $7 with passes. Good stuff for kids to learn on and have fun! Water always helps.
