“One of the most inspiring garden in america”

Olbrich Botanical Gardens is a 16 acre of outdoor gardens featuring stunning landscapes and Midwest-hardy plants in a setting of prairie style architecture. Olbrich's Thai Pavilion and Garden, the only one in the continental United States, features an innovative tropical garden in the Midwest. The Bolz Conservatory, a sunny 50-foot-high glass pyramid, houses a diverse collection of tropical plants, a rushing waterfall, free-flying birds, and blooming orchids year-round. The Botanical Center is complete with a gift shop, horticultural library, and meeting rooms. Educational classes, programs, and events for adults and children are offered year round.

My wife and I visited with a photography group. Lovely gardens and the outdoor section is free. If you keep walking it will take about an hour to get around everything, but why keep walking? Stop and smell the roses, but watch out for the bees (their houses are along the back fence).

Located in a park on the shores of Lake Monona, Olbrich Botanical Gardens and Bolz Conservatory is open everyday and is free to visit. Located on 16 acres of land, there are several garden spaces for visitors to enjoy, including a rose garden, herb garden, wildflower garden, rock garden, and more. It's awesome, and one of our favorite things to do in Madison.

A delightful surprise. We stopped and spent 2 hours walking through a little piece of heaven. I would strongly recommend a stop here.

We stopped here on a road trip out west. I was expecting a couple of gardens. We could have spent hours here. So many different gardens and they are all so well manicured. We just did the outdoor gardens and they were all beautiful. I highly recommend it.

My family is here visiting this 16 acre outdoor garden. The conservatory is free Wednesday's and Saturday's, well worth the stop. Beautiful scenery and friendly staff.

We had a great 1-hour stop seeing both the outdoor and indoor gardens. Super for a way to stretch your legs and learn for a few.
