Fair Trade Coffeehouse is an independently owned coffee house serving Fair Trade certified coffee, espresso drinks, panini sandwiches and homemade desserts. Located at 418 State Street in Madison, Wisconsin, Fair Trade Coffeehouse serves primarily the downtown crowd: residents, students, visitors, tourists, and university folks. Hand picked by our roaster, Equal Exchange, Fair Trade Coffeehouse is one of ten shops around the country participating in their 61 Beans program, giving us exclusive access to small-batch coffees from around the world. While we love our products, our success relies on: strong customer connections, excellent music, lovely space, free wi-fi, professional staff and good community relations. But the students comment on the large tables, nice staff and excellent reading lights.
