“the last best place in Indiana for family outdoor fun”
You have just found your online link to the last best place in Indiana for family fun in traditional outdoor recreation. West Boggs Park is a property of the Daviess-Martin Joint County Parks & Recreation Department, and is managed to be the family friendly alternative that you may have felt is missing from your visits to other large public parks and camping areas. The park offers camping in a wide array of programs and styles that fit almost all budgets. From overnight tent camping, to full service RV accommodations, to rental RV’s, to year ‘round resort living, West Boggs Park has something for everyone. A hallmark of West Boggs Park's outdoor recreation is its focus on fun. Programs here are a little different than programs in other parks, in that we don't concentrate on things that managers like to do, but on things that visitors like to do. we believe that a real out- door experience is more than listening to lectures, following a script or reading a sign about some natural feature. Sure we do some of that too, but we design most of our programs to be fun first and then let the outdoor education part sort of sneak up on you. You'll find our park not only more family friendly, but more approachable and more accessible as well. With miles of muiti use trails that allow you and your family to explore to your heart's con- tent, you can walk, run, bike or ride golf carts to almost any location in the facility. Seniors, in particular, seem to find the freedorrr to explore the woods in a golf cart to be a refreshing change from places that frown on such activities. If you are in the area and want to just drive through and see what all this excitement is about, just tell the Customer Service staff at the gate house that and you'll be treated like the VIP you are. We are sure that if you see it once you will retum with your family. That makes you a VIP, because that makes you the next customer that will make this you go-to place for outdoor family fun.

Confirmed by 1 users | Last reported on July 26, 2020Our site was one of the many available lake front sites. There was a lot of space between us and neighbors and plenty of room to sit by the fire and view the lake. There were several trees on our site offering shade and privacy as well. The site was gravel but level and well maintained.
The park offers an activity center including mini golf and a camp store. The prices of camp supplies and small groceries are reasonable. There is a boat launch and this is a popular fishing spot. There is a 9 hole golf course within half a mile as well.
The bath house near our site was showing its age. It was clean in the afternoon but fairly dirty in the evening. Additionally the mosquitoes and friends were plentiful outside and inside the bat house.
Cell reception at the site was good but dropped off if you adventure into the park or surrounding areas. There is no WiFi available and local TV stations are hard to tune in. This is a pro in my book but my daughter would disagree.

Variety of hook up configurations. Some have full, some have water and electric. We were in a site with 30amp, water and sewer. Bring extension cord and long hose. Our water hook up had 2 spigots and the site adjacent to us would need a really long water hose in order to reach their RV. Electric is near the road so we needed an extension cord in order to reach. We were here mid September so it was pretty empty. Some campground loops have permanent residents.

Stayed here for a group camp out. Very nice park. Water and electric available, sewer at some sites. Variety of open and wooded areas. Waterfront sites as well. Nice lake with a beach. The camp store had an activity center for children and a free mini golf course. Lots of golf carts zooming around.

I camped at Milligan Point site 5. This is a very nice camp ground. However, site 5 is extremely unlevel and not at all friendly for my 5th wheel. I will camp here again but not at this site. None of the other sites in Milligan Point are as unfriendly as this. It could easily be fixed with some stone. Perhaps they will fix it.
