Another great Army Corp of Engineers park in Arkansas!
PROs:
* Nice beach area on the lake;
* Most sites on most loops had mature pine trees which really helped during the hot, muggy summer heat;
* our loop had electric (30A) and water and dump available at park entrance;
* Russellville largest town which was approximately 15 miles away;
* could walk the loops or bicycle the loops for exercise, otherwise nothing available in immediate area;
* showers were clean and plenty of hot water.
* staff was WONDERFUL, Marilyn was a volunteer and let us move sites (to a shadier spot) with no problem or issues.
CONs:
* Connectivity was sparse;
* Remote and steep entrance for approximately quarter of a mile but is paved

I took my grandson here for a camp out before school starting. I have camped here before, but this site, B13 had shade all day. My grandson enjoyed riding his bike, we went in the water and took a lot of walks. We had a great four days. The only negative would be the traffic noise from highway 359.

My grandson enjoyed riding his bike, we went in the water and took a lot of walks. We had a great four days. The only negative would be the traffic noise from highway 359. The campground has areas with electric only and scattered water access. My rate was lower as I have a Senior Pass.

A nice Corp of Engineer Park. Has elect. and water at most sites. Also has a dump station. There are some sites that have elect. only. Sites are not on top of each other. Lots of shade. The only negative is that those sites near highway 359 get a lot of noise from trucks. All in all it was a very nice for days.

Nice campground. No water hook up in spot E6. The site is kind of turned around. When the camper is backed up, the doors are on opposite side of the picnic table. Nice view of the lake.

Our site was on the lake and we had 50 amp service and water. Beautiful views and plenty of space for our two large dogs. The rate was 1/2 price for a lifetime senior pass. The camping site was paved and also had fine gravel. Loved this place. Wish we could have stayed longer. Marilyn was very helpful getting us to the campground and to our site.

Booked online night of stay, grabbed one of last spots (was a saturday night though). Pretty easy to find, nice paved roads, decent sized camp spaces (was able to pitch a tent)- not a ton of privacy though. Site has fire ring and picnic bench, and the showers were surprisingly powerful. Overall pretty basic campsite nothing too amazing in terms of views but for an easy night of camping, def recommend!

Got a great shady site right on the lake. Tent pad was huge with fire pit and picnic table and stairs down to the lake. Well maintained. There is a beach and playground as well. Clean bathrooms.
