Confirmed by 2 users | Last reported on August 29, 2023The park does not have tons of amenities (yet!...there are new owners who have plans for the future from what I understand). Never-The-Less....we found the park to be Perfect for our needs! Our site was level & pull through. The bathrooms were new and IMMACULATE! There was decent spacing so we did not feel crowded by our neighbors. We had a lovely view overlooking the wooded tenting area, with the lake behind it. The location was central to the Hocking Hills State Park and surrounding areas. We would absolutely go back if we get the opportunity. If you are looking for lots of amenities you may want to go somewhere else. However, we prefer this type of campground! Check back for future seasons because it sounds like there will be additions in the future. The Hocking Hills State Park and Nature Preserves were beautiful and kept us busy. We camped at Campbell Cove Campground in a Travel Trailer.
We arrived after office hours.....but had no problem talking, by phone, to the owners. Our check-in was all taken care of prior to arrival which was quite nice. We were there Sunday through Wednesday near the end of July and the campground was very peaceful and quiet.

We loved this campground! We camped with partial hook up closer to the road, however they had beautiful large campground wonderful playground and jump pads! We full time RV they were accommodating with our package and graciously sent us a box that got shipped to them after we left. We loved the large field behind our site and the kids played soccer. The bathrooms and showers were very nice, the sites and road are gravel. We had grate internet using AT and T and Verizon. I’m not sure how many bars at minimum 3 I would guess. We zoom and stream television, music etc no problem here.

We camped here twice in ‘21- a Spring weekend and Halloween weekend. We camped in a pull thru site and a back-in site (both full hook ups). There are some nice tent sites as well that have a great view of Lake Logan and cabin rentals too. This campground was nearly full both times we camped but was surprisingly quiet at night. Halloween weekend was a lot of fun with decorated campers and trick or treat for the kids. This is a pet-friendly campground and there were a lot of people like us who brought their dogs along.
Everything including the bathrooms are clean and new and well-maintained. There’s an awesome new playground with a jump pad (it gets deflated around dusk). There is a game room in the lodge with pay-to-play games, a small pond & beach area and you can walk down to the lakeside. There’s a lot to do in the Hocking Hills area within a short drive and a Walmart and restaurants in Logan just up the road.
As far as the rv sites go, they are gravel pads with cement patios, nice picnic tables and fire rings. No issues getting our camper level. There are new maple trees planted between newer sites so some don’t have shade yet but some do.
I really like the online reservation option because you get an email the day before you arrive that allows you to check in online before you get there. When we pulled in we were greeted outside by one of the owners with a smile, we told him our name and site and he pointed us to our site. Quick and easy!
They are continuously improving the campground and were building additional sites, shower houses and restrooms last year. Looks like some really pretty camping spots in a wooded area.
We are booked for a Spring trip again this year and will be back in the Fall too!

This campground is easily the nicest campground I've stayed in. Visiting my daughter in Nelsonville. The sites were super level, only had to put the levelers down and move one side just a shade to be level. This campground is recently renovated, has great grounds, plenty of kids stuff to do, right on Lake Logan, and the bathrooms / shower houses are nicer than most people's home bathrooms! Only issue is a little road noise as you aren't far from 33 or 664 and some ATVs run the roads a bit...but not too late. Also have wifi that works quite well but not many campers in my loop.

While it is very nice, week before labor day no kids are here! But they will not cut the lawn around campsites! We asked 3 times already

Nice campground as central location to explore the Hocking Hills. Sites have all services and our sit was very roomy. Everything worked well, staff was helpful, shower rooms were individual and immaculate. In addition, they had wormburner golf course which was a surprising amount of fun. They also have a lot for families. All in all, a great park

Nice, clean RB park with big bathrooms. No laundry facilities but nice playground, paved roads and decent sized sites.
