“now that's what summer fun is!”
We have been a State-licensed facility for children ages 3-6 since 1997. We are located at beautiful Smokey Hollow Campground in Lodi, a perfect setting for Summer Camp fun! Our day camp counselors are energetic Education majors from throughout the State of Wisconsin, as well as local teachers and educational aides. We like to generate SMILES and are excited about spreading the news about Smokey Hollow Summer Camp. We are committed to "Creating Positive Attitudes" in children ages 3-11 years old and teens ages 12-14, and creating environments appropriate for each age group. Our facility is one of a kind, with outdoor games, activities and team-building experiences for everyone involved. We like to see that KIDS can be KIDS and enjoy summer activities such as swimming, hiking, daytrips, group games, arts and crafts, nature and more! We even have planned overnight activities for children ages 9-14. The Adventure Day Camp will accomodate the 12-14 years old with outdoor adventures and overnights, as well as enjoyment of our facility.

Confirmed by 1 users | Last reported on September 06, 2023We made a reservation for a spot four months in advance, and had to cancel our trip. Called two months before we were going to be there and the woman on the phone said "We are sticking with our no-cancellations policy". Hard to believe they have NO cancellations available, no chance of even a partial refund.
No chance we would ever patronize this place in the future, and it's pretty disappointing from a customer service perspective.

I anticipated my stay for 2 years because a friend lived in the area and her daughter worked there for a summer. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed. In the year 2023, when the website says wifi is available and hotspots to rent, that makes it possible to be the grandma with 3 older kids to be happy in the event of rain, or just because they like to relax with you tube in the evening. I absolutely would not have booked if I knew in advance that the only entertainment I had at the campsite was my portable am/fm radio that I use when boondocking. Boondocking is free. When I pay $75 for a single night, I expect to be able to communicate with the outside world if that was advertised. Because I have Verizon phone service, it was useless without the internet. So, to make a phone call to their parents or my spouse, I had to go to the office. Not outside the office, because the entire time we were there, if it was daylight, there was a LOUD, gas powered blower or trimmer being used. I couldn't have a conversation! When I tried to get away by sitting on the patio, it was posted that I'm not allowed to bring my own drink. If I went into the bathroom to escape the bugs and noise, there was no signal. Also advertised were bikes that were unavailable. I will not recommend this place and I won't return.
In addition, they sell water balloons and the microtrash is everywhere, the skate park is not well maintained and has dangerous cracks and pieces missing.
