Spacious Skies Minute Man is a peaceful Boston area campground located in a piney forest grove in historic Littleton, Massachusetts, set between two National Historic Parks and famed Walden Pond, and just a short drive or ride on public transit into Boston, Massachusetts. We offer both wooded and open sites that can accommodate most rigs. Each site includes a picnic table, fire ring, water, 20/30 or 50-amp electrical service, and many offer sewers. Groups and tent campers are welcome and can explore nearby cities as well as plenty of nature. Minute Man campground is very conveniently located just 2 ½ miles west of Route 495. Come relax by our heated pool, hang in the rec hall, send the kids to the playground, or play fetch with Spot in one of our two dog runs. Our camp store carries many convenience items and treats, and nearby restaurants offer both takeout and delivery. We have a number of cozy rustic cabins for rent for those without their own RV or camper but who may not be ready to tent overnight. RV parks like Spacious Skies Minute Man are hard to find and our RV sites fill up fast!

Boston Minuteman is about 45 minutes away from downtown Boston (if there's no traffic....good luck with that), but we stayed here to see the closer Minute Man National Historical Park in Lexington and Concord. Surprisingly quiet and wooded for an area so close to a big city; all the sites are wooded with decent separation and tons of tall pine trees. We had a site on the main road, which was nice in that it was close to the pool and playground and bathhouse; most of the sites are farther back on one of a few side loops....these looked a little more secluded and private. Very friendly staff, bathhouses were fairly nice and very clean. This is a fairly small, low key campground, but we were surprised at how much there was to do there. Heated pool, playground, rec hall, pool table, and then an area tucked off in the woods with basketball, volleyball, bocce ball, tetherball, cornhole, horseshoes....
Overall, a very nice spot for day trips into Boston or to check out the west metro area.

For being in an urban area, you don't feel it once in the campground. You might hear a distant train, but not too much else. The location was perfect to see so much in the area (Minute Man National Historical Park, Boston, Salem, Plymouth, Cape Cod, Providence etc). It also is near all conveniences, with multiple choices for groceries, restaurants, shopping etc. We headed to a nearby Target one night just to get my fix since I hadn't been in one for ages and we were getting stir crazy in the RV one rainy night during our stay.
The customer service was great - they escort you to your camping spot so there is no confusion. We liked our site "F" which was in the back outer edge of the campground and was at an angle which gave us more privacy between our neighbors and a gorgeous view from our back window. We watched chipmunks, squirrels, hawks and other birds from our windows. It was a 30 amp, back in. We were told that we got the last site, and we were so surprised this was the one - it was so nice! We quickly realized that more people seemed to want the pull through sites, but as you can see in our picture, you skip out on the size and privacy of your site then. The only downside for our site was that it was rainy during our stay and we had some muddy spots to deal with when getting out of our car.
There was only one showerhouse which is at the office, so if you're in the back of the campground, it's a bit of a hike. It was super clean, updated, and they have speakers playing country music 24/7. They also had a nice looking laundry area (we didn't use), a rec room (didn't use), and a pool (didn't use).
The dump station was tight but fine to get into while we were hooked up to our tow car, even though it is on an incline to get out of the campground.
Weekends seemed to be pretty busy, but the campground was dead during the week and we were all by ourselves in our spot. They have cabins tucked in between sites that seemed pretty popular too.
They take a few different discount plans and have a weekly discounted rate as well.
One of our recommendations would be to go to a nearby Korean restaurant, Woo Jung in Ayers. It was soooo good. We found out they weren't open Mondays or Tuesdays because we tried to go back a second time before we left. You won't regret it!

We stayed here visiting friends in Boston. The campground is lovely and wooded. While there isn't as much space and privacy as with a State or Provincial Park, the sites are nicely spaced and the many pines give the feeling of camping in a forest.
Arriving and leaving has some very steep hills and dips, where longer trailers can bottom out and scrape, so that's something worth keeping an eye out for.
Staff was lovely and everything was extremely well kept and clean.

We camped here on our way to Maine for an overnight and wow we fell in love! So much so that we stopped back in for another night on our way home. We’re big on camping in the forest and Minuteman did not disappoint. We found that the sweet spot for us was the back stretch 12a, F, E, or D. Long spaces tucked in with privacy, we’re 45’ and fit perfect! Verizon data was on fire! Some road noise and train noise noticeable in the evening and night but tolerable.

This park was a wonderful place to spend a week near Boston. We felt like we were in a state park campground, not a commercial RV park. All the sites were heavily wooded and had some privacy even though they were actually fairly close to one another. The campground itself was hilly but they did a good job making the sites level, even the long ones for big rigs. When we first pulled in off the main road and saw the place we were worried about being able to fit in our 40' motorhome but our site was plenty long and spacious. The roads through the campground were definitely a bit tight for big rigs but we managed. Both Verizon and AT&T worked well. There's a decent size fenced dog park and lots of sports/activity areas for humans too. Since it's not a very big campground we did quickly run out of places to walk our active dog, so we regularly took him to Great Hill Recreation Area about 15 minutes away to hike the miles of trails and swim in the lake. It was about a 1h 10m drive to downtown Boston, or you can take the trains (around the same time, more expensive, somewhat less hassle). Some local friends wanted to stop by to check out our new motorhome, and unfortunately the campground has a visitor fee. We stayed for a week which meant a 20% discount, making the site more reasonably priced than the normal daily rate which is a bit high. There was a train nearby that was occasionally annoying early in the morning. We'd definitely return.

The staff was nice and courteous yet kept a tight ship. The grounds were well manicured and have all the reasonable amenities one would expect, including cabins to rent for non-RVers, plenty of tent sites and sites to accommodate the largest class As. The roads to access the sites are wide enough there were little or no concern of rubbing trees going in, but the usual angled orientation to sites requires pre-planning. Hot showers in the mens restroom gratis, laundry room and store all in the main office building. A mid-level premium site for all your glamping needs.

Nice site at end of loop next to woods. Pool, laundry, rec room, small camp store &Bathrooms clean. There were lots of mosquitoes! This was the closest campground we could find near Boston but it was still an hour drive! WiFi best near store.

We chose this campground for its central location to both Boston and the college our daughter is attending. It was about a 45 minute drive from each. (There is a train available into Boston from the nearby town of Littleton as well.)
The sites are fairly close together, and there seemed to be room for any sized setup. We were on site 57, which was a pull-through level gravel pad with full hookups. The owners were very helpful, and had information on travel, trains, Boston and local eateries.
Bring your bug spray if you are traveling here in the summer! We ended up with chigger bites from somewhere in the Boston area - so treat your clothes or your skin for a more comfortable experience.
The campground was well maintained. My husband’s only complaint wa that there was only one dumpster near the front of the campground.
