Rocky Gorge Campground

Odd but nice. Odd because the sites are unnumbered and in random spots. Clean pit toilet, water, bear-proof dumpsters. Next to a lightly-traveled road. Sites have table and fire pit, but no water at individual sites. Campground seems mainly popular with fishermen.

The host is super friendly and way cool.
The place is basically 3 large parking lots with spaces scattered around.
New fire rings and benches.
No site numbers. But clean bathrooms.
The boat dock is nice and the place has lots of hummingbirds.
Now onto the Bears it’s definitely a Bear camp. In fact the host is keeping track of dates and amount.
One comes back so regular he comes every 7 days @ 11 O’clock. Pm. It’s definitely unsettling to hear him coming this way.

This spot blew us away! Absolutely beautiful surroundings! Hardly no one there. The lake is breathtaking! We were able to pull our rv right in front of a path to the table and fire pits. We don't mind boon docking so the no hook ups were not a big deal. My kids asked if we could come back for a week next summer!

Wow! Spectacular surroundings! The lake is breathtaking beautiful! We didn't know what to expect pulling into this spot and we were so surprised! We could pull our rv right up to a camp spot that has a little trail to a table and fire pit and the views of the lake!! No hook ups but we don't mind dry camping. We were bummed we didn't see any bears!
