“"world's greatest Elvis experience"”
DELETE - Closed
Driven by his vision to create the world's greatest Elvis experience, collector Chris Davidson scoured the world to accumulate more than US$3.5 million-worth of memorabilia and treasures that once belonged to The King. All of it is on display in Las Vegas at the spectacular Elvis-A-Rama Museum, a full-scale salute to Mr Presley.
A shiny, black 1955 Cadillac Fleetwood tour limousine, used to haul guitars and drums between tour stops, is one of the stars of this incredible museum. In fact, it is just one of three Elvis cars on display. These, his speedboat and a collection of stage-worn jumpsuits are other highlights, along with his famed blue suede shoes, the unforgettable gold lame stage suit, guitars and some handwritten lyrics.
Chris Davidson, as the owner of the world's largest private Elvis collection, is known as the King of Elvis memorabilia. His obsession was sparked when he attended an Elvis concert in 1976 at the Las Vegas Hilton in Long Beach. He was immediately hooked and began madly collecting right away. When the museum opened many years later, Davidson named it after an 80-foot-long mural, which features thousands of personal messages written by fans to the King.
