New York - New York Hotel & Casino

By far, one of my very favorite casinos! We had dinner at AMERICA, and went on the roller coaster! The arcade was a cool touch, got us away from the stupid slot machines for a while. We had a wonderful time here!

Rating only hotel and roller coaster.

Self check-in/out is great. You never have to actually be greeted or talk to another human, and employees don't have to bother with making you happy, so it's great for everyone. And the aroma of spilled beer, vomit and weed in the hotel hallways was charming (too bad they allow the weed in the hotel, because it stinks BAD!). The rooms are great, but it sure would be nice to have at least a coffee maker to wake you up and wash down Advil after sleeping with your head propped up at a funky angle from the giant rock hard pillows. And when you get out and about, be sure to ride the roller coaster where employees are happy to speak curtly to customers and roll their eyes. It was truly a mediocre experience that we will remember for a long time!

This is a super fun casino/hotel. I always visit when in Vegas, it's New York-themed, obviously, but has a PERFECT location along the strip. There's a fantastic Irish bar onsite. TIP: Request a room with a whirlpool tub. There's resort fee, but there's also a roller coaster in the hotel!

Really awesome casino (one of the classics if you are going to the strip), the tables are normally reasonably priced and the crowds aren't anything crazy
