Initially named the Encore Suites at Wynn Las Vegas, the 2,034-room hotel project cost $2.3 billion and was sited adjacent to the existing resort and on the remaining frontage of Las Vegas Boulevard. Originally envisioned as an expansion of Wynn Las Vegas, Encore Las Vegas quickly became a full-scale resort; it shares resources and is connected to the Wynn resort via a shopping arcade. The resort was estimated to add 5,300 jobs to the Las Vegas area.

The encore and the Wynn are the best hotels on the strip for several reasons. First, they are the only hotels on the strip that are non-Union. I was raised in a Teamster household and unions have their place and time. The non Union environment means a level of service above the rest first. Then add that Steve Wynn and his brand ensure top notch service. No excuses here when you have a question or special request.

They are the cleanest and most well maintained rooms and public areas of any resort I've stayed across the globe. Just beautiful gardens and pools. Heaven on earth.

The rooms are a good value and service is top notch

SW Steakhouse is home to my favorite beef on earth. I was born and raised on an Iowa cattle farm. I know a few things about how to raise, slaughter, and age a beef cow. The way they age and prepare their beef is near perfection every time.

I don't gamble so gaming is a guess. I know I see much different clientele and lot less of them on the floor here. U can always get a machine and or in on a game. No waiting around.
