“Proudly brewing tradition”
By producing Lancaster's first commercially brewed beer in nearly 40 years, Lancaster Brewing Company has reawakened a rich and colorful brewing history.Brewing in Lancaster County grew from the back rooms of inns in the early 1700's into a thriving industry. By 1810, the county accounted for 7% of all beer brewed in the United States.
We brew our beer in the heart of Lancaster County, Pennsylvania with great respect for the old traditions of brewing. Our master brewer, Bill Moore, has a strong commitment to quality and uses advanced brewing techniques to produce a consistent and high quality beers. Although we brew more than a dozen beers regularly, we have selected our top ales and lagers to package and deliver to fine beer distributors throughout the Mid Atlantic region.Bottled beer is also available in six pack and cases at the Brewery.
Tasty beer (amber fest anf milk stout! ) good food and a patio area as well
An awesome spot to enjoy some delicious (and quick!) food and a beer. You can see the brewery equipment, but this brewery is more of an eatery joint than others. Obviously, they've got all their stuff on tap for a reasonable price and some arcade games to engage the masses while they sip. A very authentic atmosphere that stays relaxed, but is conducive to socializing with anyone and everyone around you. The outdoor patio is a major plus. I had the brussels sprouts (which were a bit strange) but the fries and pumpkin ravioli were other-wordly. Totally exceeded my expectations. Also: if you're trying to integrate with locals, this is a rare spot where both tourists and regulars can enjoy themselves.
