Terraces Campground

Terraces Picnic Area is located in scenic Lamoille Canyon in a stand of mature aspens at an elevation of 8,000 feet. Canyon views are breathtaking from the site. Lamoille Creek runs nearby, with fishing for rainbow and brook trout. The canyon offers pretty mountain scenery, hiking, biking, horseback riding, rock climbing, and camping. This site is a group picnic area that can accommodate up to 75 people throughout its nine individual family picnic sites. The whole unit must be reserved as a group. If not reserved, the individual sites can be used on a first come, first served basis. Vault toilets, potable water, garbage service, a large paved parking area for 17 vehicles, picnic tables, and BBQ grills are provided. The footpaths within the site are paved. This is a popular site for weddings, church activities, family reunions and company picnics.
