After starting restaurants in San Francisco, Santa Fe, and even Mexico chef, painter, and musician Antonio Carafelli landed in Lakewood opening the doors to El Tango Grill (formerly El Tango Taqueria) in 1998. For over 14 years El Tango has been whipping up some of the best tasting, uniquely flavored Latin Mexican foods in the area. With its eccentric decor, the smell of fresh herbs and spices, and a few Carafelli originals furnishing the walls, this little cantina is certainly an experience you won't soon forget.
