“savor a piece of history”
Look no further for an authentic experience that will allow you to truly savor a piece of history. Enjoy flavored fountain sodas, made from scratch. Thick, rich malts spun up on a Hamilton Beach, served with whipped cream, a bright red cherry and the rest of the tin. Decadent handmade chocolates sold by the piece or by the pound. And a candy selection sure to draw some smiles from young and old alike. "We tried to make The Pearl like an operating museum of a 1930's Soda Fountain. There were once thousands of ice cream parlors across America. Collecting and recreating the era has been a treat in itself. We hope you enjoy The Pearl and visit for years and years to come." - TJ & Michelle Peterslie You won't find anything like this without a time machine. Take the time. Relax. Enjoy. We were in La Crosse for a long weekend and The Pearl Ice Cream Parlor was on our roadtrippers agenda - but it was closed for updates while we visited. If we’re ever back in La Crosse we will stop in!
We stopped here on our way out west. The ice cream shop was old fashioned. The ice cream was decent. We were there early in the morning and they were open. They also have a candy shop along with the ice cream. We decided to walk around the town a litte bit. We got a real surprise and discovered a riverboat and then realized we were on the banks of the MIssissippi.
Wow! Just magic. The kids love it and the parent either. The ice cream was relly good and the ´ambiancé was terrific. Definitively a place to come back.
Nice place in a cute town. Ice cream awesome. The only thing to make it better would be my ice cream soda is a glass with a real spoon instead of paper cup and plastic spoon, but that's being picky. Kids adored this place. Yum
What a delight! The street it's on is infectiously quaint and historic. The ice cream is delicious & inexpensive for the portion sizes, the ambiance very cool. A great stop on a long road trip!!! Want to come back to lacrosse someday!
Delicious! Fun place to stop after river boat cruise.
Great old-timey spot with fantastic customer service. They often have a crowd but accommodate their customers easily. I'd recommend a favorite ice cream flavor but they're always changing and every one I've tried is great!
Ice cream was fantastic! It's just a few blocks from the river. We enjoyed our cone with a great view of the river. Definitely will go back.
The shop is quaint and the ice cream is very good. A welcome when you walk into the door would add to the experience but being able to sample flavored before you buy is great.
Old fashioned candy counter and the best ice cream you'll ever find.
