Confirmed by 1 users | Last reported on June 26, 2021This was the first place we ever RV camped. We called ahead and told them this was our first time out. They suggested a lovely pull through right on a small lake. A camphost followed us and helped us get set up. They were wonderful. If it were warmer, we would have taken the kayak out.

Nice kept park that offers discounts for seniors and military. Will take most size trailers, we saw several class a's. Some noise from highway 1/4 mile away but not bad.

This park is great! I used one of the rustic spots for a overnight right next to Boulder Lake. Staff was friendly. They offer boat/kayak rental, has four lakes to enjoy, fishing, and hiking. Spots are nice and not too close. Different options from rustic to full hookups, and handicap spots.

Great view of the water, shower houses were very nice, nice swim beach (did not use, wish the concession stand was open), easy to fish and small boats are allowed. Lots of trees that make backing in a challenge, but it’s worth it. Get around those and you have plenty of space.

We came in for Memorial Day weekend. I took PTO and extended our stay. We stayed at site 63 which provided no green area to set up yard games but was one of the few sides large enough to handle our 42 foot Saber 36BHQ. The road to the site was tight but maneuverable. Water stations were plentiful. Plenty of trails provided nature walks with many sights to see, see photos We went to the beach to swim in the lake for several time, built a sandcastle and sun bathed. Sand is hot so make sure you bring something to lay on, wear shoes, bring a canopy and wear plenty of sun screen. Boat rentals, firewood and ice were available for purchase on site. The shower house and bathroom were spacious and clean. Single dump station was busy in the morning but we leave about an hour prior to checkout and pulled right up. Camp host, staff and park ranger were friendly. Always waved, stopped to talk and answered questions. Even got a junior park ranger badge. Dollar General is in LaRange, County Market is In Canton. We stopped to see the lock and dam, drove the river road and even went to Hannibal, MO for a day. We don’t gamble but a casino is near by. Hannibal MO had an Aldi’s which we filled out fridge at.
