Hickory Hills Campground at Bass Lake

Although quite a large plot, developed/maintained sites are limited. No pool but a nice swimmin’ hole with sandy beach. Other than the seasonal spots, few sites have power. Bathrooms are clean enough. Regulars and staff are friendly and it is very quiet. If it was better developed it would be a nice place.

First night wasn’t to bad. One person next to us came and went several times late at night with really loud music playing. 11pm second night we had to pack up our stuff and leave after a fight broke out in front of our camp site between the owners and other people at the property. This happened in front of my kids and their cousins playing on the playground. This is advertised as a family campground but definitely not somewhere I would recommend taking kids.

Not too far from Bass Lake, the campground is just a great place to enjoy nature in the area. They have over 300 sites including well-maintained cabins, full hookup sites up to 50amps, tent sites with reasonable rates. Amenities are also well-maintained and the whole place is pet-friendly too.
