An outstanding Frank Lloyd Wright designed house, with original Frank Lloyd Wright furniture. In a park-like setting. This 1,900-square-foot residence was the architect’s first building in the St. Louis area, and is one of only five Wright designs in Missouri. It is an excellent example of Wright’s democratic vision, intended to provide middle-class Americans with beautiful architecture at an affordable cost. Reservations should be made by phone, at least one week in advance; longer is better. Tours: $10; younger than 13, $5; toddlers are discouraged.
Wonderful home and tour! This is a fantastic Frank Lloyd Wright home, in great condition. The tour was easy to book, and small, so it felt like an intimate visit to a friend's home. The home was easy to find, and the property is stunning. A definite must for a FLW fan.
