CMC-NorthEast Stadium

Renamed before the 2012 season, CMC-NorthEast Stadium is home to the Kannapolis Intimidators. Formerly Fieldcrest Cannon Stadium, the 4,700-seat facility was built in 1995. The ballpark features six luxury suites with an elevated view of the field, Box and Reserved seat sections with chair backs, General Admission bleacher seating and a grassy area down the 3rd base line to accommodate overflow crowds. The legacy of "The Intimidator" lives on in Kannapolis. In November of 2000, Dale became a member of Carolina Baseball, Inc, along with Larry Hedrick and O. Bruton Smith. The Kannapolis Intimidators began playing in 2001, but sadly, Dale was killed before he could see his team play.
