“The best pie in the Midwest”
Old fashioned, homestyle food and the "best pie in the Midwest"! Entrees are under $8, include salad or soup; pie will run you about $2.59/slice. Great coffee, pie & diner food. Try the Steak and eggs or Mediterranean chicken pasta (both of which are recommended). They also make their own milkshakes! If you're looking for a delicious and cheap meal, this is the place to go.
You absolutely need to save room for the warm peach pie a la mode. Holy cow. It's goooood. All their pies are outstanding, really. Reserve a slice in advance if you're really craving a certain flavor (and they make tons- apple, butterscotch, lemon meringue...)
Whether we've been there for breakfast, lunch, dinner or just pie, we have never been disappointed or gone away hungry. The food and staff are terrific. Can't recommend this place enough.
