Stayed here September 2017, rate reflects weekly & Good Sam discounts. Used this park as a jumping off point for exploring Glacier NP...30 minutes to West Glacier Entrance, 42 minutes to Apgar Visitor Center.
Older park with mature trees, situated along the Flathead River, park-like setting. A bit of road noise from State Hwy 35, but nothing too annoying. Interior RV sites are closely spaced but big-rig friendly, ours was a 102 ft pull-through. Some outer sites have a view of the river, but didn't seem to have easy access to beach or water, and river current looked unsafe for anything but boating or fishing from the beach.
Laundry facilites older but clean & functioned well. Staff very friendly and helpful. Small playground and plenty of grassy areas on outskirts to take care of doggie needs.
15 minute drive to shopping & dining in downtown Kalispell...try HuHot Mongolian Grill, awesome!

A lovely campground on the outskirts of Kallispell along the Flathead River. The price is a bit higher than we normally like to pay, but you do get friendly hosts, beautiful surroundings, well maintained grounds, and quiet fellow campers. There are sites to suit any size rig and an area for tents too. We opted for an electric/water site with a great view of the river. Pads are gravel and each site gets a picnic table and most seem to have a fire pit. There’s a small children’s playground near the office. WiWi worked adequately for our needs and was available throughout the campground. All in all, a pleasant stay.

Our stay at this park was okay. We stayed here while visiting Glacier National Park and the drive to the park entrance was about a half hour. The campground has full hookup sites, water/electric only, and tent sites with no hookups. We stayed at a water/electric site. The site was nice with a grassy area and shade from some big trees. There was a gravel pad to park on which was level and pretty easy to back into. The campground had nice, clean bathrooms and showers. There was a laundry room-the washers worked fine but some of the dryers left clothes soaking wet. There was definitely some road noise at our site but it doesn’t bother use. There was river access for fishing right from the campground which was cool.
Our experience with the site hookups: When we arrived and checked in, they told us the electricity at our site was out but should be back on soon. It didn’t come back on for another 5 hours or so. It was 101 degrees out that day and our camper heated up beyond that so this was an inconvenience since we have a dog who was having trouble cooling down. We took him to Cabela’s just to get him out of the heat! The next day they had to turn off the electricity again to finish repairs. Also our water stopped working randomly but management was able to fix that pretty quick. Not sure if it was a fluke or if their utilities are always that unreliable.
We felt that the campground had pretty strict rules, especially regarding dogs. They claim to be pet friendly and allowed us to have our dog with us BUT there were strict rules with fines listed about not letting dogs on the grass and only letting dogs do their business in designated areas. We tried but this is not always an option - our pup pees as soon as he sets foot on the grass in the morning. They did have an off leash (un-fenced) area for dogs to run and do there business which was nice but walking our pup there without letting him step foot on the grass wasn’t realistic. They also had strict hours for the laundromat. And they had strict rules about what was allowed on the grass.
Overall, the sites were nice but we didn’t have the best experience and would not stay here again.
We had Verizon coverage here but I can’t remember how many bars.

Our sites were very narrow gravel with minimal grass between. Other sites had more room. Didn’t use other facilities. Staff was pleasant. Good location to Kalispell, Glacier, Whitefish or Flathead lake.

We stayed here for two weeks in August while we explored Glacier and Whitefish. The campground is located on the Flathead River. Sites are gravel and fairly level. Sites vary widely in size and desirability. Some are large with grass around them. Some back up to the river. Some have shade and some don't. Some are tight and get a lot of road noise during the day (which is where we were). It quiets down at night. All the staff were extremely nice and friendly. It's an older park and could use a little updating but everything is well maintained. There is a very large field that's maintained for dogs. The laundry room was clean. Didn't use the bathrooms.
