Hell Creek Recreation Area

There is 25 miles of an awful gravel road, washboard and blind curves. It takes about an hour from Jordon to get to the park. There was damage internally and externally to our 37th 5th wheel and full of dust. The campground itself is good, level sites, good 50 amp power in our site. We decided not to stay because of no cell service on Verizon or T-mobile. There were many fisherman and it sounds like the marina is good (we did not go to it). Once we shared our road experience with others, they also had stories of damage to rigs....it's a hell of a road but if you can handle damage or are prepared and have everything secured its scenic drive and the view when you get there gorgeous.

The landscape is stunning but the road is horrible. Washboard, steep, steep drops and blind curves. Really treacherous and will damage any low clearance rigs. It’s 25 miles of driving 30 mph and you and everything you own will be covered in dust. Great when you get there but be repaired for 0 cell service, no wi-if and very slow, hard driving to get there.
