Confirmed by 11 users | Last reported on November 06, 2023Staff here were so friendly and helpful. Sites were very spacious and level. Park is on the greenway where you can walk to the town of Elkin along the Yadkin River. Enjoyed visiting the town of a Elkin and wineries in the area. Weather had been very rainy before we arrived so there were lots of puddles before we arrived. Our site was fine, but some had lots of water, but cleared up quickly. Very peaceful place to stay. A nice quiet peaceful fall week, but could see they have lots of fun things for kids in the summer! Could do without the noise from the trains in the early morning! Will stay here again.

Our site was right next to the river. Though the campground was nearly full, we had plenty of privacy and shade. Really terrific site. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Love this place. Clean, quiet, close to town, only about 30 minutes from Stone Mountain State Park, close to several wineries and nice restaurants. Campsite trail ties into city greenway with a playground for kids by the river.

We had a very shady site with was nice. The bathhouse was very clean and well maintained. Unusal enhancements include a "fake" lake for swimming and cooling off, music on Saturday night and visits by food trucks.

Price paid does not reflect weekday discount. This new park was well designed, and everybody we had contact with was very nice. During the week there were many open sites, so it was really quiet. Will be better when the trees grow to provide more shade. Lots of activities nearby, as well as restaurants and shopping. We chose to go the the alpaca farm not far away.
We usually stay at public campgrounds because we like the atmosphere better and the extra room, but we'll probably be back to this private park.

We absolutely loved our stay at Riverwalk. From the moment you check-in til the moment you leave, you feel so welcomed and part of a family. Since it was our first time there, we got the VIP welcoming with a gift bag and escort to our site. We were celebrating my birthday and our anniversary. When we got to our site, we found signs wishing us a happy birthday and happy anniversary. It was truly special! The owners and camp hosts felt like family. The sites were completely level and we had a great view of the “beach”. We enjoyed the beach and lake, rode our bikes along the trail connected to the park, and came in 2nd place at the Cornhole Tournament. We loved our stay so much that we booked the next one on our way home!

We loved our visit to Riverwalk on the Yadkin RV Park. The Greenway adjacent to the RV park was a wonderful, shaded place to walk next to the river. The private pond/beach was great for cooling off. Bath house was clean. The hosts were very accommodating and friendly. WiFi was slow at times but it worked for using our cell phones just fine. We loved being so close to historic Elkin and the eateries that were there including Southern on Main. Trains come through close by but I slept right through them. The Yadkin River Valley was beautiful and we spent a day motorcycle riding to Stone Mountain Falls and Mt. Airy. We also enjoyed a day doing part of the “Surrey Sonker Trail”...tasting strawberry/rhubarb, apple, peach and black cherry sonkers in three cities close to the park gave us a sugar high but delish!

First time visiting this camp ground and have to say our experience has been wonderful. Easy access a little more than a mile from I-77 and upon arrival, the camp staff greeted us outside before we were able to stop at the office, had us checked in and escorted us to our awesome level pull through site that our 40' rig with Toad easily fit. The staff mentioned they do have high water pressure and offered to provide a regulator if needed. As to not be redundant of all the other positive reviews, would like to add that there is a new bark park that has to be close to a 1/4 acre with 4' fence that our dogs absolutely loved and the park even has running water and a couple of bowls to fill for the pets to enjoy. over all the park was very quiet, clean, very well maintained and planning to return.
