We have stayed here several times. Its just nice. They discount for 55 and older so we got the $10 a night rate, normally it is $20. It is all walk-in only, no reservations, but they do have weekly rates and off season monthly rates. This sites are level, but while shaded there is little vegetation between sites. The city was doing some construction on another part of the park, so during the day there was some noise from that, but overall fairly quiet. This is one of our go to stops.

Bike trails, hike trails, migrating birds, play area for children, lots of gorgeous trees all just minutes from all the amenities of Jonesboro. This is a gem of a place to park and enjoy some of Arkansas' flora and fauna.
Water and 50 amp power, there is a dump station just a short distance from the camp ground entrance. Sites are level gravel, road is paved. Beautiful setting. Verizon was between 2 and 3 bars, but we did get satellite. Sites further in have some lake views, but have a 14 day max. Sites up past the bathroom and laundry don't have the same restriction.
We walked often on the 3 mile dirt path around the lake, and also road our bikes on the paved bike trail. The park also has an ATV section, but we never heard a motor.

We chose this location because we have family in Jonesboro. Our son checked the place out before our arrival, so we knew it would be a nice enough place, but we were pleasantly surprised when we arrived. The price reflects off season rates as we were here in January. The campground is small, but very nice. All pads are paved or concrete and pretty level. There is water and 30/50 amp electric at each site, as well as a trash can. The water was good with no unpleasant taste or smell that we've found in some places. Many of the sites have nice water views of the small lake. The shower house is small but very nice with no water timers on the showers. There is also a laundry in the shower house as well. Another big plus is the many walking trails. There is a very nice paved trail with many exercise stations placed intermittently along the way. There is another stone path that completely encircles that lake that is about 2.3 miles. There are ATV trails, and what appears to be a motocross track for bikes, as well as numerous trails throughout the park well marked through the woods. Cell phone coverage was sufficient as well. This campground is very close to everything you could need. We would be most happy to return here anytime.

So impressed with this beautiful little municipal park. Everything you could ask for. $25/night with $10/night discount for 55 and over. Free firewood. Only thing I didn’t like was that they let people dump grey water on the ground. Bad practice in our opinion. Lots of amenities like hike/bike trails and playgrounds and walking paths. Laundry and bathhouse was very clean.

Standard rates are $25 with seniors at$15. Gene and Debbie where great host. It’s beautiful there, very large park with 20 plus acre lake with walks around it. There is an outer walk about 4 miles paved with exercise equipment along the way. The lake walk is 2 miles with geese n ducks. Fishing. Travelers from all across the US were there 5 stars in our book and we travel camp 5 months of the year. J

Beautiful park and campground with large lake as it’s centerpiece. All large paved sites with power and water hookups, picnic table and garbage cans at each site. There is a dump station on the way out. We took advantage of the onsite laundry facility which is coin operated, but bring your own quarters there is not a change machine. There are many walking trails, playgrounds, and beautiful scenery. As a family of 4 we all enjoyed our stay.

Great walking and exercise tracks, lake and activities for kids. Water and electric, level concrete pads, and free firewood. We only stayed one night while traveling through but would definitely stay again.

This stop is a gem. So much to do: stroll around the pretty lake, run or bike on a long paved path, mountain bike on an awesome wooded single track, playgrounds, a bike obstacle course... and more!
The RV part of the park has concrete, level pads with electric and water, picnic tables, fire pits, free firewood and get this: a trash can at every site. Dump is only on the way out but it’s only $25/night or $150/week! I hear it goes down to $15/night on Nov 1st.
We did our laundry and met some nice folks. The weather was rainy so we didn’t get to pull out the paddleboard but would have for sure.
My only knock on this place is that they allow greywater to be let out into the soil. Bad call. Oh and there are some long-termers that look a little sketchy but we had no problems with anyone.
Would come back here for sure!!

All sites are first come. No reservations. All sites are back in. I imagine this place fills up quick. We saw only 5 or 6 empty spots on a Monday in October. Sites above the bathhouse/laundry are where long-term guests stay. Sites below the bathhouse/laundry have views of the water to some degree. 50 amp & water at each site. Dumping avail to guests. I've never ever EVER seen free firewood. unlimited. wow. Other cool perks: garbage can at every site, 2 washers @ $1.50/load, 2 dryers @ $1.00/load, 3 extraordinary playgrounds within walking distance, a bike park, disc golf, a paved 3 mile exercise trail around lake, a 2.5 mile chat (gravel) trail water-side, plus all the great things others have mentioned. This quality of park/campground makes us want to come back ASAP. Open year round. Check out weekly rates in pic.
