“Designed in the Neo-Baroque style”
The Rialto Square Theatre is a theater in the Joliet, Illinois (U.S.) suburb of Chicago. Opening in 1926, it was originally designed and operated as a vaudeville movie palace, but it now houses mainly musicals, plays, concerts, and standup comedy. It is also available for public and private functions. Designed in the Neo-Baroque style, it is considered one of "150 great places in Illinois" by the American Institute of Architects. The Rialto Square Theatre is considered one of the 10 most beautiful theatres in the nation. Offering Concerts, Comedy, Broadway, Dance, and Hosting Weddings and Receptions, the Rialto ensures you can always find the entertainment you're looking for.
Real cool venue to see a live show in. Saw numerous local productions here growing up in the area, and caught a couple of special events including Craig Ferguson. Excellent excellent venue.
Gorgeous place to stop for a photo shop. The building is an absolutely beautiful architectural gem.
