Really pretty and has a hiking trail that connects with the Ouachita National Recreation Hiking Trail. Can’t remember exactly how the sign was worded but basically “closes at dark”. US Forest ranger said no overnight parking here and no disbursed camping in any developed areas of the Ouachita National Forest including the trailhead parking lots. I will add because of the low lying limbs you don’t want to come in to the park itself if in a motor home or towing a trailer. The parking area is tight and not easy to maneuver. I recommend if here for day use then park out by Hwy 7.
Now a local person at the day use area told me you can overnight park in the nearby Hollie CCC camp historic site parking lot further north on Hwy 7 because it is open 24 hours and it has a vault toilet. I stopped for a visit but eased on down the road. Here is the web link for the Iron Springs day use area. https://www.fs.usda.gov/recarea/ouachita/recarea/?recid=10771
