The campsites are well appointed with a fire ring and picnic table. There are vault toilets throughout the campground. The sites are on grass, with a mix of sunny and shaded. 13 are suitable for RVs, and another 20 or so hike in sites. The campground is right on the Buffalo river, with river access for kayaks. There are some beautiful hiking trails coming from the campground going upstream.

Website says 6 miles in, it is much longer (or feels) much longer than that on a gravel, dirt road. Pretty rough for a long rig. Beautiful and quiet view!

Out of season for sure. Seems like it is a pay per during normal season.
The road is loong and gravel/pretty rough but manageable for our e350 short bus (non dually).
Only a few other folks there/thru hikers. We stayed 2 nights at a nice secluded campsite. Nice little day hikes from there (pets not allowed on these trails technically, but are allowed at campground). Short walk to the river.
Zero service at site. Was able to find a few bars while biking trails. Vault toilet.

The road in is 6/7 mile dirt. Somewhat well maintained with minimal washboarding. Longer rigs won’t love it but it’s doable. We saw multiple horse trailers traveling in and out while we were there. 4 wheel drive and high clearance aren’t really necessary but never hurt. 2 wheel drive will be fine if pulling small trailer. The campsites are well appointed with a fire ring and picnic table. Some large enough for bigger rigs. Somewhat level and clean. There is one open vault toilet in the campground and another near the BRT trailhead. The sites are not paved and are a mix of sun and shade sites. We counted 13 sites that would accommodate a small RV or large tent and multiple hike in sites. The campground is right on the Buffalo river, with river access for kayaks. There are some beautiful hiking trails coming from the campground going upstream.

About a 20 minute drive on gravel road. No signal. Beautiful camp ground. I went late March. One vault toilet was unlocked and clean. A lot of other campers out there, everyone was super friendly! There are about 4 or 6 group camp sites with large fields, big enough for multiple tents. There are quite a few individual campsites with fire pits, picnic tables, and lantern holders. Very well maintained and clean. I would 100% recommend using this campground.
