May 5th, 2021: RVer report confirms multiple reports from Oct 2020 & earlier, & info provided by NV DOT. Overnight RV Parking is allowed. State of NV allows parking for up to 18 hours in rest areas. Paved area is off highway, with one entrance/exit. Large enough for small & medium sized RVs to turn around, unless there are many other vehicles there. June 2009 RVer did a U-Turn in a 35-ft Class A with a toad, without backing up. Park withoug obstructing movement by any other vehicles. Level,unlighted, appears safe. 'No Trucks' signage means that it's quieter than most rest areas; May 2021 RVer says there's road noise but it's 'not bad.' Permanent pit toilets, 3 picnic shelters. Rest area adjacent to creek, and may be under water at flood stage.

Directions

On W side of US 93, ~ 3 mi S of Jackpot, NV. NOTE: SB approach & entrance is a tight hairpin turn; may be too tight for RVs longer than 35 - 36 ft.

For a rest stop, it’s looks nice but all I can say, MOSQUITOES, really bad, as soon as we got out of our truck, my son and I were swarmed with mosquitoes. We ran back into the truck, about 5-8 mosquitos got in the truck with us, (and we were not lingering). We did not stay, it was that bad!
