Not sure the name of the fella who who checked us in, but he is a gem. We were tired, no reservation, rooms were full. I mentioned we had planned on camping up the road and he mentioned that they also had campsites, free hot showers and a pool! We took it and he offered for us to pitch our tent inside one of their available teepees. They have a great little store with snacks beer wine and necessities. We grabbed a great burger and homemade pizza at the Wagon Wheel, came back and took hot showers and settled in. A storm rolled in overnight and we were glad to have the added shelter of the teepee.
A nice and clean place with gorgeous views of the badlands. Has campsite and hotel rooms available and the rooms are dated but extremely well kept and worth it for the money.
We LOVED this campground! We brought our 18β trailer and my husband and myself. It was perfect and a great location. We stayed 3 nights and wished we had longer but canβt wait to go back! Rhonda who was the cook and server for their breakfasts is a gem - she was a sweetheart and makes great pancakes and awesome coffee β€οΈ Thank you Rhonda and all of the staff! Beautiful immaculate campground ππ
