The National Balloon Classic has been on my Iowa bucket list almost since I moved here close to five years ago, but until this year though, I'd never made it to the annual festival.
Tourist tip: Grab a coffee and opt for one of the early morning flights to beat the crowds (and the $5 admission fee) in the evening.
