“A home when you're on the road”
In 1947 Mr. & Mrs. Jack Knabe opened Traveler Motel for business. The first unit built on the site was the south east unit which now is numbered 11 thru 16. The other 3 units were added over a course of several years bringing the total number of rooms to 24. The owners house which sits on the north east corner of the lot was built in 1951. In 1959 Robert and Phyllis Worrall purchased the property, where they raised their family along with running the motel. Worrall’s owned the motel for approx. 35 years. The property was well maintained by Robert and Phyllis, particularly the landscaping and grounds. In the mid 90’s the property was sold to Mike & Tina Rogers. In 2008 the property was bought by the current owners, Dale & Deb. Traveler Motel is managed and operated by Dale & Deb who also live in the owners house at the Motel. Over the last 4 years many renovations and updates have been made and many more are being planned.
