Idyllic Honesdale, the county seat, is the birthplace of the American railroad and home to the classic children's magazine Highlights, which is still produced in a historic home on Church Street.   Camp Towanda is located just 8 miles north of town in the rolling farm countryside on an inspirational dirt road, taking us back to the way life use to be!
