Berry's Campground

You are river front with great people. We came through late without a reservation but the front desk accommodated us and were lovely as were EVERYONE we met in camp. Did I mention right on the river? It is beautiful. 4 stars (not 5) because the fire pit was full of garbage and cigarette butts; our neighbors left their black tank open continuously (by our picnic table) and there are some (I’m sure security) lights that limit the stars and lightening bugs. We super LOVE the lightning bugs and you can walk up the road to see more, we don’t live somewhere these exist so they are kind of magic for us.

There is a rail way that will make noise.

This isn’t KOA. BUT a wonderful campground. Just don’t expect pools and stuff.

A no-frills full hookup campground right on the New River. Very close to New River Gorge National Park (actually in it). Quiet, neighbors were catching fish, beautiful scenery and birds abound. Didn't use bathrooms or laundry. Definitely add a filter on your water line. Site was gravel and level.
