Mount Carmel Cemetery

Mount Carmel Cemetery is a Roman Catholic cemetery located in the Chicago suburb of Hillside, Illinois. Mount Carmel is an active cemetery, located within the jurisdiction of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Chicago. The cemetery is located near the Eisenhower Expressway (Interstate 290) at Wolf and Roosevelt Roads. It is adjacent to one other cemetery, being Queen of Heaven Cemetery, another Catholic Cemetery. Famous Chicago gangsters are buried here, including Al Capone, the Genna Brothers, and "Machine Gun" Jack McGurn. It's said any disrespectful visitors are visited by the ghost of Al Capone.
