“nestled in a quiet shaded valley”
One of Hill City's finest campgrounds nestled in a quiet shaded valley, with Spring Creek babbling through the resort. You are minutes away from some of the most fantastic attractions in the Black Hills area. Pack a lunch and experience a wildlife adventure in Custer State Park. Enjoy a day or evening at Mount Rushmore National Monument. Crazy Horse Memorial, the world's largest mountain carving, is only minutes away from the resort. Wander into Hill City, the heart of the Black Hills. You will discover a living, breathing mountain community, a place where spectacular scenery and some of the best parks and attractions mingle with a century-old tradition of hard work and friendly western hospitality. You will find art galleries, lively restaurants, colorful retail shops and the story of Dinosaur Sue, the 1880 Train, and our very own Prairie Berry Winery. Several Outstanding golf courses are located throughout the Black Hills. Enjoy fishing at near by lakes and streams. A hunter's dream, Elk, Deer and Merriam Turkey are right out your back door. Enjoy the tour and we hope to have you as our guest.
Do not stay in Cabin 1. It is waaaay overpriced. Your cabin and fire pit are right on the highway. The rest of the campground looks well kept and even somewhat quaint. That vibe does not exist at cabin 1 as trucks and cars zoom past you at 50+mph. Not my idea of log cabin camping.
